Ballot Measures

Colorado League of Responsible Voters – "Know"

In 2010, Colorado voters faced four constitutional amendments and one proposition that all had one thing in common: they were bad for working families, seniors and the state's economic health. TBW produced all of the mail for the newly-formed Colorado ballot table, CLRV, in an effort to defeat these harmful measures. Polling showed that voters were confused about what the measures did and concerned that they would have unintended consequences. TBW developed the tagline, "If you don't know, vote no" to tap into this concern, and produced mail and walk pieces to be distributed by canvassers. With the help of the "if you don't know" campaign as well as ballot guides and pieces specially targeted to permanent absentee voters, all four amendments and the proposition were defeated.
